Patti attended college at Virginia Tech, where she earned two degrees in communication and psychology, and with a minor in business leadership. Throughout college she worked at the Collegiate Times, a student-run, daily newspaper. She started as a page designer and worked her way to editor-in-chief. Her years working at the newspaper provided excellent experience in design, writing, and management that she draws on for her work at Eben Design.

"I recently moved to Seattle and have been enjoying my introduction to West coast life. My husband and I were thrilled to find that this city is bursting with things to do and has such great parks to take our two pugs to. I enjoy exploring the city, reading, cooking, and trying out the many, many coffee shops in Seattle."
